G.K.'s uses gymnastics training to promote the physical, social and emotional well being of children. We strive for fun, excitement, quality and innovation in every program we offer. G.K.'s has the finest programs and facilities available and all classes are based upon the latest and most up to date teaching theories and training methods utilized by hundreds of programs and workshops throughout the United States and Europe.

In developing physical and body awareness, we emphasize coordination, balance, strength, endurance, and flexibility. Children are grouped by age and ability providing each child with the opportunity to progress at their own pace. The curriculum follows the path set by United States Association of Gymnastics covering skills on all boys and girls Olympic events from beginning levels to competitive programs.

Instructors:

Since 1976, G.K.'s Gymnastics has been owned and operated by Gene and Lorraine Koehnke. The 71 years of combined gymnastics and educational experience, including the University of Denver varsity gymnastics team, national ranking, Olympic Trials, and national lecture tours, make an exceptional husband and wife team. Gene & Lorraine attend national and international workshops and seminars to work with other top coaches and clinicians throughout the world in order to stay abreast of the latest techniques and procedures in an ever changing and evolving sport.

All support staff, teachers and coaches are personally selected and trained with great care based upon their technical knowledge of the sport of gymnastics as well as their understanding of child development.
