From the time children are born until entering elementary school, their world is primarily physical. They must deal with physical development long before concerning themselves with mental and cognitive development. If they can move through these beginning years gaining maximum confidence, then they can go on with minimum frustration.

All normal healthy children naturally learn to walk, run and jump. However, not all children learn these motor skills as well as possible. According to developmental psychologists, physical competence is crucial to your child’s growth and maturity. In the early developmental years, children’s’ intellectual and psychological development is intimately connected to their ability to move and physically explore their environment.

Our Parent Tot program“Toddlers on the Move” A unique parent shared program for children ranging in age from walking through three years of age. The children are divided into two different age groups and the parent is actively involved in the class to help us enhance confidence in a learning environment and have the child accept another adult as a teacher.
